All new manuscripts for the 2022 6th International Conference on Civil Architecture and Structural Engineering (ICCASE 2022) should be submitted directly via AIS Scholar Online Editorial System. Authors can access and edit the submitted papers to the system from anywhere with Internet access, and all the records, including files and exchanges, will be maintained.
Step 1. In accordance with scientific integrity, we run Turnitin on each new submission for plagiarism check. Papers not passing the plagiarism check will be desk rejected.
Step 2. The publication chairs will have an initial check on the new submission to ensure the manuscript is within the scope of the conference and decide if it merits further review. If a new manuscript passes the initial check, it will be assigned to reviewers for single-blind peer review.
Step 3. Each selected paper will be reviewed by at least two or three independent experts with related research backgrounds on originality, validity, quality, and readability.
Step 4. Reviewer reports received from the experts will be judged by editors in line with international scientific standards.
Step 5. Normally, the reviewer report will be sent to authors to revise the manuscript accordingly; if the received reviewer report is short of professional expertise, the editor will assign the manuscript to a new reviewer or judge on their own.
Step 6. Authors will be required to revise their papers according to the reviewers’ comments.
Step 7. The revised version will then be evaluated by the editor to determine whether the reviewers’ comments have been properly addressed.
Step 8. The editor will send the revised manuscript to the reviewers again for re-evaluation.
Step 9. If the reviewers approve the revisions, then the Editor-in-Chief will make the final decision for the publication.
